Night trains from Zurich run to Vienna, Hamburg, Berlin and Amsterdam, among others, often stopping in Basel.
Seat, couchette or sleeper?
- Seat: cheap, not very restful.
- Couchette: four or six berths, breakfast included. The best compromise.
- Sleeper: private compartment, some with a shower.
Book early
Space is limited, especially in summer and on public holidays. Saver fares go quickly.
